Solar Forward gives Portlanders a way to help fund the development of new, local renewable energy systems. Grant funds from the Oregon Community Foundation kickstarted installation of the first 10-kilowatt solar electric system at Southwest Community Center, and more projects on public-owned buildings are in the works.
